Boys & Girls goes BANANAS

This Saturday at El Dorado, Boys & Girls has a very special guest - Brooklyn DJ/Producer Sammy Bananas. On his last visit, Sammy had the dance floor in a frenzy at Voyeur. He's had 2 releases on A-trak's infamous Fool's Gold record label, and another one about to drop on Jan 19th for the self titled debut release of his group Telephoned which includes songstress Maggie Horn. He can also be seen dropping DJ sets all over the country from Blow Up San Francisco to Control in LA. Be prepared for a night full of indie dance panty droppers, which of course will include a ton of his own tracks and remixes such as, Passion Pit's "The Reeling", Kid Cudi's "Make Her Say," and a ton more.

Adam Salter & Andrew Decade will be opening for Sammy and the ladies of CultCultureClothing.com will be present doing what they do best. To RSVP email asalter1@hotmail.com for free entry before 11pm.

A preview of what Saturday will bring.....

Saul Q. VS. Adam Salter this Saturday at B&G

First off, thanks to everyone that made it out to Boys & Girls a couple Saturdays back w/ French legend Alan Braxe! That was serious fun. Check out the video a few posts down to witness the mayhem. When I asked Alan if he had fun, he said Boys & Girls and his gig in LA (Discotheque) were 2 of the best shows on his tour, which included SF, NYC, and Chicago to name a few.

Transition: We have a pretty dangerous crew/night put together for this Saturday's edition of Boys & Girls at El D. Saul Q...the man needs no introduction. This Sat he'll be losing his B&G virginity as he and I battle it out on the decks. The Hi Ball Kids will be hosting and losing their B&G virginity as well. Just a forewarning, I don't know anyone that party's harder than these guys. Up and coming youngster Squid Vicious will be opening up w/ a solid selection of indie jams. And of course Norton, photographer/entertainment extraordinaire, will be doing what he does best: snapping shots, taking shots, drinking PBR, and getting loose. Note to self: You can't use "getting loose" in every post.

Segue: Get to El D early on Saturday and prepare for a nice hangover Sunday. Contact me, asalter1@hotmail.com, or El Dorado directly about guest list options.

POSSO!

Hey everyone!

DJ Groundfloor here, first of all, tip of my hat to everyone that came out to the Shark Attack party! The dance floor was full and abundant with smiles at the end of the night- a true measure of a good time. You can find the photo from that night right here. The Young Guns parties are shaping up to be among the best in our fine city, if you haven't come out yet, we've got a great party lined up for you this saturday!

In sync with San Diego Fashion Week, we bring you the official Fashion Week Closing Party for those who know. Our guest entertainers for the night are two girls from LA that have made their mark on both the fashion and music industry. Marylouise Pels and Vanessa Giovacchini are collectively know as Posso, a forward thinking fashion lifestyle brand and a cutting edge DJ collective. They are perhaps most well known in the fashion industry for resurrecting the popularity of the Spat , a now sought-after vintage fashion accessory. In recent times they've made their mark on the music world, DJing at amazing parties alongside Cut Copy, Them Jeans, Steve Aoki, LA Riots, and many others. Posso will join us this Saturday for a party you won't want to miss.
