EL||D Abroad...

Some news and notes from the road...

Hey Guys!

We've been having a crazy trip. Bouncing back and forth between Ireland and England. I've attached a photo that I took from some video on stage at the O2 Arena in London wearing my El D shirt. Also, I included a photo standing on the stage once it was full of people (20,000). Thought these may make for an interesting blog post. On our last day in London I will get some photos wearing it with Big Ben in the background or something.

I've been missing all of you guys, and look forward to coming home. I'll be back Monday the 2nd, but am flying into LAX and staying in LA for a while to have some meetings. I'll definitely be in to say hi to everyone the next night. Oh, the shirt was a huge hit. People have been commenting on it (including the Killers drummer Ronnie, who totally wants one).

Talk to you soon!
Welcome back, Josh!!

We hit the 'Three Month Mark' Y'all --> Thank You!!!

Wow! It's been a little over three months since we opened the door's here at the EL||D, and we owe our patrons, employees, friends, entertainers, vendors, sponsors, local businesses, and the East Village community a huge THANK YOU!!! It took us a long time to get this thing off the ground, but it was definitely worth all work.

We just had our official grand opening on February 19th. It was a great night! Our weekend nights, featuring two different styles of entertainment have been amazing -- Thanks to Ratty, Jblow, and Unite, Fridays pack heavy soul and classic hip-hop. Saul Q and Adam Salter have Saturdays on the rise. And, of course, let's not forget Ikah Love on Thursdays, with the Grown Folk house band, as well as some interesting national talent on the horizon... next Thursday, the legendary Greyboy is on the decks!

Even with all these great events, and new friends, we've made a bunch of mistakes. We're well aware there's much room for improvement. Please don't hesitate to call, email or leave a comment below about anything you think we could improve (or leave the same)... In the end, it's your feedback that makes us better -- and we're glad to listen!

Thanks again,

The Owners of El Dorado
